Iftar dinner (Majlis Berbuka Puasa)

Dr Morni Hj Kambrie (Group Chairman, SIDMA College Sarawak and Sabah) hosted an annual Iftar dinner (Majlis Berbuka Puasa) for all SIDMA College Sarawak staff. The dinner was organised to enable all SIDMA staff to celebrate the month of Ramadan by breaking the fast together.

Dr Morni, who was very delighted to host the annual Iftar, thanked all the staff for their sincere attendance and participation. He felt honoured being able to share time and table with all his SIDMA community during this very special occasion. Having Iftar dinner together with staff is an easy and gentle way to bring all the staff together, share ideas, get to know each other better, ease feelings of being different, and experience togetherness as well as to enjoy life.

He too thanked and congratulated all SIDMA staff, their families and friends for their ongoing generosity, creativity, hard work, efficacious and loyal commitment to SIDMA’s vision and mission, fulfilling and delivering its promises effectively and efficiently.

Fasting during Ramadan is an “institution” for improvement of moral and spiritual character of human being, as well as provides opportunity to think about our own selves, our future and our families, Dr Morni urged all staff to take advantage of the virtues of this holy, blessed month and to continuously reflect on ones deeds, as well finding ways for SIDMA continuous, dynamic and progressive improvement.

The event was attended by Tuan Haji Marzuki Haji Umi (Chairman for SIDMA College Sarawak). Puan Hanizah Mohidin (Chief Finance Director), Puan Dayang Hajah Sofia Abang Haji Bohan (Chief Executive) Managers and Heads of Departments lecturers and staff of SIDMA College Sarawak, UNITAR Sarawak.
